I asked D (age 13, ADHD) how his new notebook and backpack processes are working for organization so far. We check in weekly to see how it’s going, so he doesn’t get too far off track. I offer suggestions and light coaching, but it’s important that HE is the owner and driver of his own grades and assignments.
